Question by : my sister is in ivory coast and no philippine consulate in the country.Can she travel home to the Philippines?
My sister is in ivory coast in west africa. There is no Philippine consulate in Ivory Coast. Can she travel back to the Philippines to renew her passport?

if her passport has expired she has a big problem

if it is not expired she can travel back to renew it

    There is an embassy in Nigeria. That should be near enough. She should give them a call and make inquiries.

    I hope it isn’t expired yet, because the nearest consulate is in Accra, Ghana. If it would be more convenient (and less costly), and she is not scheduled to come to Manila, then she can probably get a travel document in Ghana. Address and contact details:
