
Question by MorganC: If someone who has AIDS willingly infects another and admits it, can legal action be taken against them?
If someone who has AIDS willingly infects someone else with AIDS, and then admits to infecting them, what kind of legal action can be taken against them, if any? If they admit in court to purposely giving someone AIDS, can they be charged with something? If you know of anything online as well that proves/disproves this, can you please post that too?

That person could be criminally prosecuted. It is a felony to do so.

Yes if the person was aware that they had AIDS and intentionaly infected another person it is a crime.
