Hunter PvP Guide – Dominate Your Enemies From Afar

Made a Hunter because you heard they are easy to level? Well they are, but once you hit the level cap you want to PvP. To make things easy there too, you need the guidance of a Hunter PvP guide. It will teach you how to fight with your Hunter from start to finish, step-by-step. Besides that, you will also see which items are best for you, what talent builds to use and other information you may need. Until you get a Hunter PvP guide, here are a few guidelines to playing it right and not make a fool of yourself.

Hunters are dead easy to level in PvE, they can do very hard quests thanks to their pets who can tank for him while he deals damage. A lot of newbies prefer the Hunter because they are that easy to level. Once you get into PvP things change though, your pet wont be able to taunt the enemy as players are not mobs, they are after you. So then you have to change your tactics. You have to figure out a way to keep the enemy far away so you can deal damage and not receive any. Hunters are pretty squishy, so you want to avoid any type of damage. One way to figure out how to keep a player at a safe distance is to look through your talents and see what you can use. That can take a lot of time and you can screw up your character very easy. A viable options is a Hunter PvP guide. You will find in one all sorts of strategies to use to counter other classes including your own.

The basics of playing a Hunter in PvP

The biggest problem of a Hunter is keeping the enemy within range, if you start fighting melee then you are dead. What you need to do is use every available skill to keep your target far away from you. That can be very tricky as any self respecting PvP player knows this and has ways to neutralize most of your tricks. It can be overwhelming for a newbie to play successfully such a class, that’s why I recommend using a Hunter PvP guide. It will tell you exactly how any class can counter you and give you solutions to these. Personally I find such a guide vital to a newbie or even to a veteran who just started playing a Hunter. It can shave off months of frustration in PvP and teach you stuff you would normally learn in huge amounts of time. Despite all that, once you start shooting from range, your presence will be felt. Anyone who chooses to label a Hunter as not a threat is in for a nasty surprise. They can dish out large amounts of damage, they can supress casters fairly well and thanks to their Frost Traps they can control melee classes very well.

How to play a Hunter in BGs

In BGs, you as a Hunter will want to avoid crowds. That can be hard as this class doesn’t have stealth. Your best bet to get some kills is to find a spot near an enemy base where players can’t reach you easily. You must also use the terrain to your advantage, for instance always look for a hill facing the enemy. Make sure that in order for them to reach you, they must circle around you, that way you can keep hitting them until they die. If they don’t fall for that one, bring some bait. In Warsong Gulch for example, take the flag and find such a hill, that way they will have to come to you. Of course, your team wont love you very much for it.

How to play a Hunter in Arena

In arena PvP everything changes. First off you don’t have that much space, but you do have all sorts of ways to get out of sight. So make sure you spec for pet a bit and you can then make use of him to damage your opponent without coming in contact with him. The most important thing in an arena, anyway, is your team. If they manage to keep the opposite team away from you, you should then be able to put them down. As a Hunter it’s best to aim for the weakest classes while using your traps to subdue the tanks. A good Hunter PvP guide will offer you countless strategies to use in an arena so you will always be victorious.

(Dedicicated To Zulu Chief Shaka)

Hero who surpasses other heroes!
Swallow that disappears in the clouds,
Others disappearing into the heavens!
Son of Menzi!
Viper of Ndaba!
Erect, ready to strike,
It strikes the shields of men!
Father of the cock!
Why did it disappear over the mountains?
It annihilated men!
That is Shaka,
Son of Senzangakhona,
Of whom it is said, Bayede!
You are an elephant!
