@cegoins25 there is a tube one of the surgeons use to suck up the blood and recirculate it as the surgery is happening, you can see it in some parts of the video

My dad had hip replacement surgery monday..he’s so young for it at 49..
I was 15 yrs ols when I had 4 screws placed in my hip had them removed when I was 22, total hip replacement at the tender age of 33 that lasted me almost 10 yrs. had a revision done in 2006 my surgon told me this one will last me almost a good 15-20 years. I have degenerative bone disease and now my knee has joined the party!

Gosh it so pain agh!! My gosh! I have ever kind this surgery ever I had ACL surgery on June 17,2011. It knee surgery. But hip surgery oh no I hate it my hips are fine

i am only 15 years old yet i have had a full hip replacement due to Avascular Necrosis when i was 12. I had the surgery on the 13 April 2011. still not sure what i can do and cant do when its all healed.. Really greatful to Mr. E Gent hes helped me through it all. and performed surgery, he changed my life! Any one got any advise on what i can do later in life?
