Ethiopia – Berhanu Bedhiye’s Seedling Nursery – June 2011


Berhanu Bedhiye is the Project Manager for Facilitators for Change Ethiopia’s Oljedha Project, as well as a graduate of Trees for the Future’s Long Distance Agroforestry Training Program. He is working with TREES to extend agroforestry and sustainable land-use practices to FCE’s project participants. He is also a farmer himself, interest in practicing agroforestry in his own land and community.

Desalegn began working with Trees for the Future and Greener Ethiopia in 2010. This year he is raising about 8000 seedlings of 7 different species as an income generation activity
