@griever01983 Yes, that’s true. Belushi is such a legend… Too shame he died so early. A member of the blues brothers band said that if John was still alive, they would all be millionaires. I agree 100%. John was amazing, truly gifted, truly talented. Check out “national lampoon’s animal house” (1978), if you haven’t done so yet, it’s a really funny movie.

@doncarlosgallagher right but afer belushi diead goodman took his place

@griever01983 The first album of B.B. was “briefcase full of blues”. The duo was Belushi and Aykroyd, not Aykroyd and Goodman.

This jam scene is the only reason to watch “Blues Brothers 2000″. The performers include: Koko Taylor, BB King, Steve Winwood, Charlie Musselwhite, Isaac Hayes, Dr. John, Jeff (“Skunk”) Baxter, Clarence Clemons, Paul Shaffer, Gregg Allman & Eric Clapton, among others. Absolutely brilliant performance in an otherwise crappy movie. In fact, most of the music in this movie is great. It contains Lonnie Brooks and Junior Wells playing together as well.

I enjoyed Blues Brothers 2000 but it was nothing like the first one.

Blues Brothers 2000 wasn’t as great a movie as the first one, but it had some damn fine music!

    @evilteddybear42 The original blues brothers…not 2000

@evilteddybear42 John Belushi died in 1982, he couldn’t have had a role in Blues Brothers 2000, which is a 1998 film.

(Dedicicated To Zulu Chief Shaka)

Hero who surpasses other heroes!
Swallow that disappears in the clouds,
Others disappearing into the heavens!
Son of Menzi!
Viper of Ndaba!
Erect, ready to strike,
It strikes the shields of men!
Father of the cock!
Why did it disappear over the mountains?
It annihilated men!
That is Shaka,
Son of Senzangakhona,
Of whom it is said, Bayede!
You are an elephant!
